About the Show

Rodgers and Hammerstein's third and most innovative collaboration, Allegro is a serious musical that was ahead of its time.

Story: "Everyman" Joseph Taylor Jr. makes his name in the big city as a doctor, but in the end returns to tend to the "real" people in his hometown.
