Based loosely on the film of the same name, a new musical from the creators of In the Heights and Next to Normal.
Story:
When school redistricting sends popular cheer-captain Campbell to Jackson High School, she is suddenly on the outs, popularity-wise at the new multi-ethnic school. In order to get back on top, Campbell has to convince Danielle, the head of Jackson's hip-hop dance troop, to start a cheer squad if she's ever going to "bring it on" and end up on top again.
