Dames at Sea

Dames at Sea

This tap-happy musical was originally based on a short sketch loosely based on 1930s Busby Berkeley-style movie musicals.

Story:

A Broadway musical in rehearsal is thrown into chaos when the theatre is ordered to be torn down. A pair of sailors convince their Captain to volunteer their ship as a replacement venue, saving the show. But when the leading lady becomes seasick, the show again seems doomed...unless an expected star can fill the diva's big shoes.
