Milk and Honey

Milk and Honey

Jerry Herman’s first Broadway book musical set in Israel during the nation’s early days of independence.

Story:

A group of American widows – led by the hilariously blunt and amiable Clara – tour the country by bus in hopes of landing a husband. Meanwhile, two lonely Americans named Ruth and Phil meet and begin a mid-life romance, hoping to overcome some obstacles to their happiness.
